Position Summary :

The Metal Fabrication employee will be responsible for setting up and operating machines to cut, punch, machine, bend, insert, weld and prepare metal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepares and operates fabrication equipment such as lasers, punches, mills, brakes, insertion, spot welder, saw and laser welder to fabricate and construct metal components. Completes quality checks on completed work, to verify it conforms to specifications. Observes machine operation to detect machine malfunction and/or work defects. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Ability:
