Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Ironworker and bring your expertise to construction sites where precision, safety, and craftsmanship are paramount. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining structural steel and iron components that form the backbone of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Your skills in welding, rigging, blueprint reading, and fabrication will be essential to ensure the integrity and durability of each project. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute ironwork installations. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including
MIG, TIG, FCAW
), and plasma cutters to cut, shape, and assemble steel components. Perform welding tasks adhering to ASME codes & standards across various welding types such as <
LOCATION
> welding, Soldering, and Schematic-based welding processes. Fabricate ductwork, pipe threading, sheet metal components, and assemblies with precision using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Conduct mechanical assembly of structural elements while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and project specifications. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and materials used throughout each project phase. Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on structural steel installation or related trades. Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), plasma cutting, and sheet metal fabrication. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices in construction environments. Mechanical knowledge including ductwork installation, pipe fitting or assembly work is highly desirable. Pay:
$26.72 - $35.00 per hour
