In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating custom components and installing finished products with precision and safety in mind. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality craftsmanship, ensuring projects meet specifications, safety standards, and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of materials and tools in a fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment. Duties Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately fabricate components. Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and machining machinery to cut, shape, assemble, and finish materials such as metal, wood, or composite materials. Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure accuracy in fabrication and installation. Handle materials safely using proper lifting techniques and adhere to all safety regulations including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as respiratory protection, gloves, goggles, and hearing protection. Use forklifts and heavy equipment safely for materials handling within warehouse or fabrication areas. Assemble fabricated parts on-site or in the workshop according to project plans, ensuring proper fit and finish. Install finished products at client locations or designated sites while following safety standards in construction and manufacturing environments. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials, inspecting equipment regularly, and adhering to safety protocols during all operations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues or installation challenges promptly. Experience Proven experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or related fields involving heavy lifting, assembly, or machining. Hands-on knowledge of welding techniques, machining processes, millwork (woodworking), and materials handling procedures. Familiarity with operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely within warehouse or job site settings. Understanding of safety standards in production environments including PPE use, respiratory protection, and adherence to OSHA or local safety regulations. Prior experience working with power tools, hand tools, measuring devices, and assembly techniques is highly desirable.
