- Full-time Job Summary WeBox Solutions is seeking an experienced Container Repair Welder to inspect approved repair work orders and complete welding, structural, panel, door, flooring, and hardware repairs on shipping containers.
GMAW/MIG
welding for thin panels and general container repairs. FCAW/flux-core welding for outdoor and heavier structural repairs. SMAW/stick welding for appropriate structural applications. Plasma and abrasive cutting. Thin-sheet heat control and distortion prevention. Structural steel fit-up and fillet welding. Grinding, finishing, sealing, priming, and painting. Safety Expectations Safety is a major part of this position.The employee must:
Use proper welding, grinding, cutting, eye, hand, hearing, and respiratory protection. Follow hot-work and fire-watch procedures. Maintain proper ventilation when welding inside containers. Never work underneath a container that is not properly supported. Properly handle gas cylinders, hoses, regulators, welding leads, and electrical equipment. Stop work when conditions are unsafe or when the approved repair cannot be completed correctly.Pay:
$18.00- $27.
