Beaumont, TX Job Details Full-time $24.30 - $29.27 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications TIG welding Forklift MIG welding Power tools Manufacturing Hand tools Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fabricator Lead to oversee and coordinate fabrication operations and manufacturing of custom machinery. This role is vital in ensuring that metal components, and structural elements are fabricated accurately, efficiently, and safely. The Fabricator Lead will be part of a team of skilled fabricators, manage complex projects, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety compliance. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting, possess strong mechanical knowledge, and have a passion for leading teams in fabrication processes, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact. Duties Lead and supervise fabrication teams to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication activities Manage rigging operations for lifting heavy components with cranes or forklifts while adhering to safety protocols Enforce safety procedures related to welding, rigging. Maintain detailed documentation of fabrication activities including logs for inspections, safety checks, and project progress Qualifications Proven experience in OEM site fabrication or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of mechanical systems Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; experience with welding preferred Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices Familiarity with rigging procedures using cranes or forklifts for lifting heavy materials safely Strong mechanical knowledge including pipe threading and assembly of ductwork or sheet metal components Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during fabrication tasks Experience working with schematics for mechanical systems or structural assemblies Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards Join us as a Fabricator Lead if you're ready to take charge of complex fabrication projects while inspiring your team toward excellence.
