An Iron or Steel Worker installs iron or steel beams, girders or columns that create the structural frame for tall buildings, bridges or other large structures.

1. Field Installer•Fence, Gates, & Metalworks 2. Shop Welder / Fabrication Helper We do custom gates, repairs, and miscellaneous metal fabrication, so there is a variety of work and opportunities to learn additional skills. POSITION
#1•FIELD
INSTALLER
•FENCE, GATES, & METALWORKS We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, using tools, and building things. Responsibilities Install fence, gates, stairs, railings, handrails, and other metalwork Measure, level, plumb, and align installations Use hand and power tools Drill, cut, grind, and make adjustments as needed Install posts, brackets, hinges, hardware, and anchors Work from drawings, measurements, and job specifications Work safely on ladders, lifts, and construction sites Load/unload materials and keep job sites clean Work professionally with customers, contractors, and crew members Qualifications Construction, fence, gate, or metalwork experience preferred Comfortable using hand and power tools Able to read a tape measure and take accurate measurements Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn Able to work independently and as part of a crew Valid driver's license Able to lift and handle materials English and Spanish Preferred Welding and fabrication experience is a plus, but not required. This position focuses on physical installation and construction .

WELDER/ FABRICATION HELPER
We are looking for someone to work primarily in our shop building gates and miscellaneous metal projects. Responsibilities Weld steel gates and other fabricated projects Cut, fit, grind, drill, and prepare steel Measure and lay out materials Build custom gates, frames, brackets, and other metal projects Use grinders, saws, drills, and other shop equipment Assist with repairs and modifications Prepare completed projects for installation Load materials and finished projects Keep the shop clean and organized Occasionally assist the field crew when needed Experience That Helps Steel fabrication Gate fabrication Metal cutting and fitting Plasma cutting Blueprint/drawing reading Construction Mechanical work English and Spanish Preferred You do not have to be an expert welder to apply. If you have some welding experience, are mechanically inclined, can use tools, understand measurements, and are willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a hands-on trade job. The field position involves working outdoors in Texas weather. The shop position involves working around steel, welding equipment, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment. Both positions require standing, bending, lifting, carrying, and working with tools and materials.
