In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality metal structures and parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and fabrication skills in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence and innovation. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements Perform MIG welding (SMAW) using AWS standards Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other metal components utilizing plasma cutters, press brake machines, and hand tools Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accurate fabrication Operate rigging equipment, forklifts, and power tools safely during assembly and fabrication processes Interpret shop math and mechanical blueprint details for accurate fabrication of structural components Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes Proficiency in MIG welding and welding techniques according to AWS standards Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret mechanical fabrication instructions Familiarity with plasma cutting, machining, and using hand tools or power tools Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes in a fabrication shop setting Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical schematics and schematics accurately
