Duties and Responsibilities:

Surface preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and priming them to ensure proper adhesion of plaster materials

Plaster Application:

Apply plaster or other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, and structures using a variety of techniques, including hand trowels, mechanical sprayers, and plastering machines.

Texture and Finish:

Achieve the desired texture and finish as per project specifications, which may include smooth, textured, or decorative surfaces.

Repair and Restoration:

Repair and restore existing plaster surfaces by patching, filling, and matching textures to maintain the structural integrity and aesthetics of buildings.

Material Selection:

Select and mix plaster materials, including gypsum, cement, lime, or acrylic-based products to meet project requirements.

Safety Compliance:

Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment, to ensure a safe working environment.

Cleanup and Maintenance:

Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and clean up the work area at the end of each day.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations. Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a plasterer or a related trade Proficiency in various plastering techniques and materials Strong attention to detail and precision in finishing work Knowledge of safety procedures Communication and teamwork skills Basic math for measurements and calculations
