Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Rod Buster (Reinforcing Ironworker) to join our construction team. This role involves placing and tying rebar to reinforce concrete structures while following project specifications and safety standards. Ideal candidates are hardworking, safety-focused, and comfortable in physically demanding environments.
Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans Measure, cut, bend, and install rebar Tie rebar using wire, clips, or other fastening methods Position and secure steel bars in forms before concrete pours Assist with layout and placement of reinforcing materials Operate hand and power tools safely Follow OSHA and site safety regulations at all times Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Previous construction or rebar/ironwork experience preferred Ability to read tape measure and basic blueprints Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive labor Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Strong work ethic and ability to work on a team Reliable transportation to job site
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
