Job Description

Job Overview We are looking to hire a Metal Fabricator experienced in saw cutting, forming and assembling metal components to create finished products or structures according to specifications. Operate machinery such as shears, presses, welding equipment and perform measurements to ensure accuracy and quality of work. Ability to interpret blueprints, collaborate with production teams and maintain safe and efficient work practices. Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, to determine fabrication requirements. Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment. Perform welding, grinding, bending and other metalworking processes to create finished products. Inspect and measure finished components for accuracy, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Maintain and operate fabrication machinery, including presses and shears. Collaborate with supervisors and other fabricators to ensure project specifications are met. Repair or modify metal components as needed for maintenance or custom projects. Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, including proper handling of tools, metals and welding equipment. Experience Minimum of 3 years experience working on construction sites or in a fabrication shop environment focused on metal fabrication projects. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with shop math, basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations. Hands-on experience operating power tools. Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding operations and metal fabrication processes. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality standards.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
