Job Description

We provide and service safety and fire-fighting equipment for passenger and cargo ships, offshore installations, fishing vessels, naval fleets, helicopter services, fire departments, and leisure yachts. We are currently looking for a dedicated and hands-on professional to join our team and contribute to our life-saving mission. Your Role In this role, you will be a key representative of VIKING, building strong relationships with customers by delivering reliable, efficient, and friendly service . You'll collaborate across departments and play a vital role in ensuring that our life-saving equipment is always ready when it matters most. Key Responsibilities Service life rafts and ensure they are fully operational Perform maintenance in accordance with VIKING's latest procedures and regulatory standards Conduct required testing, including: Load tests (every 2 years) Gas inflation tests (every 5 years) NAP and floor seam tests (after 11 years) Maintain detailed checklists and verify expiration dates of all raft components Inspect, clean, repair, and label containers accurately Repack life rafts based on customer requirements (valise, low profile, etc.) Coordinate delivery and pickup of life rafts at ports (including weekends when required) Maintain a clean, organized raft room and facility Support the sales team with preparation for local boat shows Your Impact & Authority Determine parts and components that need replacement Decide on required testing for life rafts Ensure accurate and compliant documentation What We're Looking For A team player with strong collaboration skills Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and committed to quality and safety Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional weekends Why Join VIKING?
