Shop Welders for an immediate 2‑month contract project at an industrial fabrication shop in Reading, Pennsylvania (Sinking Spring location) . This is a great opportunity for structural welders looking for solid hours, overtime, and per diem for travelers .

Standard Schedule:

5:00 AM•3:30 PM 10‑hour shifts, 30‑minute lunch

Alternate Schedule Available:

4:00 AM•4:30 PM for increased overtime

Pay Rate:

$28•30/hour

Per Diem:

$125/day 7 days if Saturday is worked (Saturday optional) 6 days if Saturday is not worked

Perform welding using

FCAW, GMAW

(MIG), SAW, and SMAW Read and interpret weld symbols, WPSs, and shop drawings Perform weld preparation, grinding, gouging, and cleanup Work safely with overhead cranes, fixtures, and heavy plate assemblies Maintain compliance with AISC, AWS, and OSHA standards Support quality, productivity, and safety‑focused team initiatives Required Skills & Experience 2+ years of structural steel welding experience Current or prior

welding certification required AISC fabrication shop experience preferred Strong attention to weld quality, accuracy, and safety Ability to work efficiently in a team‑driven industrial shop Tools & PPE Must bring hand tools (chipping hammer) Welding helmet and steel‑toe boots required Long pants and long sleeves required at all times Client provides electric tools
