Job Description

The Community Support Professional for the Fostering Attachment and Meaning, Integrating Lives with Youth (FAMILY) team provides direct intensive community crisis stabilization for youth and foster families in the New River Valley area. These individuals are experiencing acute distress due to placement within the foster care system and require additional support acclimating to the new circumstances. Coordinates appropriate services and interventions to stabilize the individual in the least restrictive manner. Works as part of a team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community. •$2,500 Sign on Bonus•
Starting Salary:
$48,750-Depending on
Experience Education/Experience Required:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelor's Degree in special education, social work, psychology, or approved human services related field is preferred. Current registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP is required. Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
