AdvanTec Marine is looking for an experienced and energetic Fabricator 2 to join our Doors department in Chilliwack, BC.

Our Fabricator 2's have a starting wage range of $23-$28 per hour based on experience and an assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment. Please visit our website at www.advantecmarine.com. The Fabricator 2 is responsible for reading and analyzing blueprints and engineered drawings to correspond with the required metal cuts. The Fabricator 2 will be required to use a variety of power tools to make the necessary cuts and to assemble the fabricated components into complete units. Open to inexperienced candidates as we are willing to train the right person. Essential Functions for this Role are: Analyze blueprints and drawings to assess materials needed Plan the sequence of tasks to fabricate products Operate light machinery, including grinders, sanders, cordless drills, and a variation of saws Install fabricated components in the final product Monitor quality of assembly & fabrication Adhere to all safety standards and SOP's Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required: High school education 2-5 years' experience in a related field Ability to accurately read a tape measure Manual dexterity and able to lift 50lbs Basic knowledge of assembly and fabrication an asset Basic mechanical and math skills Innovations.
