  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Stainless Steel Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team on a full-time basis.
This role involves performing high-quality welding and fabrication of stainless steel components for various industrial applications, ensuring adherence to safety standards and precise specifications. The ideal candidate will bring energy, precision, and a proactive attitude to contribute to our manufacturing excellence. Whether working on first or second shift, you will be instrumental in delivering durable, reliable metal assemblies that meet rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and fabrication procedures. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) processes on stainless steel materials with precision and consistency. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and ductwork components. Measure materials accurately with calipers, micrometers, and shop math skills to ensure proper fit-up and alignment during fabrication. Rigging, assembling, and welding pipe threading or ductwork according to ASME codes & standards and industry best practices. Maintain a clean work environment by following safety protocols, inspecting welds for quality assurance, and documenting work progress in accordance with AWS standards. Collaborate with team members to interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for complex projects involving metal fabrication and mechanical assembly. Requirements Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background with a focus on metal fabrication. Demonstrated proficiency in
MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW
welding techniques on stainless steel materials. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical blueprint understanding. Ability to operate shop math tools such as calipers, micrometers, and basic math calculations accurately. Experience with fabrication shop equipment including press brakes, plasma cutters, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication tools. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices. Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, ductwork assembly, rigging operations, and schematic interpretation. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining safety standards on-site or in the shop environment. Valid certifications in welding processes such as AWS certification preferred; construction or industrial experience highly valued.
