Full-time Position Summary Join a leading biomanufacturing facility specializing in scalable production of innovative biopharmaceutical products. As an Associate focusing on Downstream/mRNA manufacturing, you'll play a vital role in the production of high-quality drug substances within a GMP-compliant, clean room environment, utilizing advanced technologies and single-use systems. Key Responsibilities Carry out downstream purification activities for mRNA production, including in-vitro transcription (IVT), chromatography, tangential flow filtration (TFF), viral filtration, bulk drug substance filling, and column packing/qualification Adhere strictly to detailed instructions, Batch Production Records (BPRs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in compliance with cGMP and GDP requirements Document all work with precision and integrity Proactively identify and escalate deviations, supporting rapid resolution Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement; lead and engage in related initiatives Support onboarding and training for junior employees, including possible opportunity to become a Certified Trainer Participate in daily shift meetings, cross-shift communication, and collaborate with internal teams and clients as needed Maintain rigorous clean room standards and ensure a safe, compliant workspace Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Associate's or Bachelor's degree (scientific, engineering, or biomanufacturing discipline) with 1+ year experience; or Master's degree (STEM) (experience preferred, but not required) Comfortable following procedures within cGMP/cGXP/FDA regulated environments Familiarity using Microsoft Office applications
Preferred:
Experience with TrackWise, ComplianceWire, JD Edwards, DeltaV, or chromatography software (e.g., Unicorn) Clean room and/or GMP manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, read, and use a computer for extended periods Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in a controlled clean room environment Why Join Us?
