Job Description
Job Title:
Environmental Technician Job Description This role requires performing general labor and environmental technician duties at the landfill site. Responsibilities include using tools for digging, adding dirt on top of landfill trash, cleaning the inside of gas flares, and potentially operating and maintaining landfill gas recovery systems. The position demands flexibility with shift hours, primarily 7am-4pm Monday to Friday, and occasional weekend work.Shift:
7am-4pm Monday to Friday, and occasional weekend work. Responsibilities Perform general labor tasks such as digging and adding dirt over landfill trash. Clean and maintain the inside of gas flares used for trash conversion into gas. Operate and maintain landfill gas recovery and migration control systems. Ensure efficient gas collection and conversion into renewable energy. Monitor emissions and maintain landfill safety. Show initiative in finding tasks to perform, including site cleaning. Essential Skills Experience in site labor and field service. Comfortable working outdoors for 8-10 hours daily. Reliable transportation and clean driving record. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Basic computer literacy. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical aptitude. Experience in construction or environmental field work. Certification inHAZWOPER.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
