DESCRIPTION
The Service Technician is responsible for the safe and on-time collection of water and oil samples for various wells on any assigned route. This position is also responsible for conducting various water analysis that includes, but is not limited to gas sampling, field titrations and serial dilution testing. Extended responsibilities include sampling at facilities, including but not limited to: Millipore, oil carry over, and tank sampling. The Service Technician is also responsible for monitoring inventory and rates at each well location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collection of water samples from various wells; Gas sampling and field titration that includes: PH, CO2, H2S, alkalinity/bicarbs, temperature and pressure values; ATP sampling; Serial dilution testing; Documenting and recording data accordingly for each well sample; Communicating data accordingly with Sales Coordinator; Generate and follow schedule for each well including follow up testing; Monitor and manage product inventory to support chemical program; Set-up and label storage tanks and containment; Maintain PPE, tools, sampling equipment and vehicle in accordance with company policy; This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work under pressure and to maintain efficiency and composure Ability to travel out to and navigate job sites for extended hours as business dictates with the ability to travel by means designated by Company (Air, Auto, Train, Boat, etc.) Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) and PC Skills Needs little direction to complete tasks; can dictate degree of direction needed to complete tasks
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or
GED PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. at any given time Ability to bend over 40-50 times per day Physical demands of the position including sitting, standing, climbing, agility, reaching, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, low level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking. Ability to work in inclement weather Ability to work overtime (55-65 hours total per week) TRAVEL This position requires daily local travel within assigned Company vehicle. We are a
