Landscape Designer

Landscape Designer Coastal Exposures Landscape, Inc. is currently looking for a full time creative and dedicated Landscape Designer to design stunning, functional outdoor spaces. The Landscape Designer will meet with clients, understand their requirements and create detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You should have excellent knowledge of various plants and their growth requirements, understand aesthetic design principles and be able to work within budget constraints. Our ideal candidate will also have strong customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their landscape design needs and preferences
• Create detailed designs and plans using CAD software
• Select appropriate plants, flowers, and trees for the landscape design
• Prepare cost estimates for projects
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during the landscape installation process
• Ensure that the landscape design aligns with client's needs and preferences
• Continuously learn about new plants and design techniques in the industry
• Ensure that all work is carried out within regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Landscape Designer
• Knowledge of CAD software for creating designs (Land F/X)
• Familiarity with various plants, their growth requirements and care
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
• A degree in Landscape Design, Horticulture or a related field is preferred
