Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and creative Landscape Design Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in landscape design, drafting, project planning, and site analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced designers and project managers while contributing to a variety of residential and commercial landscape projects. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of landscape designs, planting plans, irrigation layouts, and construction documents. Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD. Conduct site measurements, field observations, and inventory of existing site conditions. Assist in the development of design presentations, renderings, and project proposals. Research plant materials, hardscape products, and design solutions. Support project managers and designers throughout the design and construction process. Help organize project files, drawings, and specifications. Attend project meetings and site visits as needed. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field. Strong interest in landscape design and site development. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Technical Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD is important Experience with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, or similar design software is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to read and interpret design drawings and plans. What You'll Gain Hands-on experience working on real-world landscape design projects. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
