Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect Greenblott Design is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect to join our studio. Our work focuses on high-end residential landscapes, outdoor living environments, gardens, pools, hardscape, architectural coordination, and construction-phase support. This role is ideal for someone with strong design instincts, solid technical drafting skills, and an interest in seeing projects through from concept development to construction. The position requires a balance of creativity, organization, technical precision, and clear communication. www.greenblottdesign.com Responsibilities Develop landscape design concepts, plans, and presentation materials for residential projects. Prepare accurate AutoCAD drawings, including site plans, layout plans, planting plans, construction drawings, details, and permit/bid documents. Assist with 3D modeling, renderings, and visual presentations using SketchUp, D5, Adobe Photoshop, and related design tools. Conduct site visits, field measurements, site analysis, and project documentation. Research and select materials, plants, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and other project elements. Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal team members. Assist with project tasks, including schedules, meeting notes, construction coordination, progress tracking, and quality control. Support projects from early concept design through construction administration.

Qualifications / Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with SketchUp, D5, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Excel, and/or similar tools is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of landscape design principles, hardscape design, planting design, and detailing. Horticultural knowledge and plant selection experience preferred. Ability to produce clear drawings, details, diagrams, and presentation graphics. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable communicating with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors. Interest in residential construction, materials, detailing, and project execution. Hand sketching and graphic communication skills are a plus. Familiarity with construction methods, jobsite coordination, and installation processes is a plus.
