In this role, you will be the driving force behind creating inspiring outdoor spaces and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your expertise in landscape design, combined with your sales acumen, will help clients visualize their dream landscapes while guiding them through the project process from concept to completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend artistic talent with technical skills, contributing to sustainable and aesthetically pleasing environments that enhance communities and natural landscapes. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for landscape projects, providing expert guidance throughout the design process. Develop detailed landscape plans Create compelling visual presentations Conduct site assessments Use our CRM to manage pipelines, appointments, and communications. Prepare accurate construction estimates by understanding construction costs, project management principles, and landscaping techniques. Engage actively in sales efforts by presenting design proposals to clients, addressing questions about materials and maintenance requirements, and closing project agreements. Coordinate with employees and vendors during project implementation to ensure designs are executed precisely while maintaining quality standards. Stay informed on industry trends such as sustainable practices, innovative hardscape materials, irrigation technology, and landscape maintenance strategies to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape design/sales or related fields such as civil engineering or horticulture; construction experience is highly valued. Proficiency in relevant design software Strong skills in visualization tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite; ability to produce hand-drawn sketches or professional art is desirable. Understanding of landscaping principles including planting design, hardscape installation (pavers, retaining walls), irrigation systems, and sustainable practices. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently through effective project management techniques while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration; sales experience is a plus. Familiarity with land surveying processes and civil engineering concepts related to site development enhances project accuracy. A passion for creating beautiful outdoor environments that prioritize sustainability and functional design.
