As a Junior Landscape Designer, you will work alongside our experienced designers and project managers, assisting with all aspects of the design and sales process. Site Analysis:

Evaluate natural site elements including soil conditions, sunlight exposure, drainage, and existing vegetation. Record highly accurate measurements according to our strict specifications.

Design Development:

Prepare scaled base maps and construction documents using design software SketchUp. Over time, develop original 2D/3D designs.

Plant & Material Selection:

Choose appropriate trees, shrubs, perennials, and hardscape materials (stone, pavers, wood) suited for the local hardiness zone.

Project Management:

Develop cost estimates, material takeoffs, and project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Contractor Collaboration:

Coordinate with installation crews, landscape contractors, and other trades to ensure the design is executed accurately on-site.

Client Interaction:

Assist Senior Designers with client interactions, including picking up checks and delivering samples, Who you are:

Education:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field. •

Note:

commensurate, demonstrable experience in the field may be sufficient.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in drafting software and basic understanding of geospatial technology.

Plant Knowledge:

Strong working knowledge of regional plant palettes, soil health, and sustainable landscaping practices.

Communication and multitasking:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to run several projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk on uneven terrain and frequently work outdoors in varying weather conditions during site visits.
