A seasoned Team Member will master more of these facets while a newer entry will be presented with the opportunity for grow into the position. This Landscape Design/Sales role combines art & business management into clear communication. Additional bonuses based on performance and execution. Design Discuss project goals with clients & set-up new opportunities Visit site to review existing features/needs by listening to clients, taking photos, and measurements Draft plans for projects and plantings based on client goals Select plant and building materials Interaction with computers and technology Proposals/Project Management Discuss designs and create proposals to discuss with clients Provide clear goal for Construction Team execution by having accurate quantity and colors of materials Review projects 1x week Provide client a final walk-through at end of significant projects Present final invoice to client Work Flow More time in spring for project start-ups/ Less time January-February Arrive 30+ minute before construction team to be available to discuss the day's projects Communicate how-to's of artistic and durable construction to team members Experiences Planting knowledge and awareness Drafting, drawing or sketching skills Computer knowledge including Excel, drafting/communicating programs (Photoshop, Google Sketch-Up, Dynascape, LMN, AutoCAD, etc.) Familiar with computer processes for saving documents, this role requires computer understanding and awareness in a moderate level due to software integrations mentioned above. Ability to adapt and adjust to revisions in plans, materials, and budget Interesting Tips Interest and knowledge of shrubs and trees is useful relating to clients Past construction experience helps understand logistics of planning on outdoor room Past forklift or skid steer operation helps operate the occasional piece of equipment Being prompt and accurate on projects build rapport with peers and clients alike Share goals (personal + professional) and desires with others.
