At Browning Day, our portfolio spans a broad range of project types within civic, cultural, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, mixed-use, preservation and reuse, sports and wellness, and the workplace. Our success is based on the client's vision coming to life and includes a team of Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and support staff who play a part in solving complex design problems. We are seeking an Architectural Intern who will add their skills and creativity to our diverse projects. We believe all team members, no matter their experience level, can make a lasting impact on our clients and their projects, and our firm.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Incorporates and considers sustainable design solutions into all projects. Provide support to landscape architectural staff. Support project teams in all stages of the project, from planning and concept design to construction documents and site visits. Responsibilities vary based on experience, interests, and business needs. Other tasks as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Possess creative talent in the communication of complex conceptual design concepts. Foster mutual trust and confidence by developing relationships. Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and provide high-quality work. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Prefer a proficient level of experience in the following: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Sketchup, AutoCAD, and 3D rendering software (Lumion) Satisfactory completion of a background screening. Applicants must include electronic work samples and a resume to be considered. Current student of an accredited Landscape Architecture program.
