Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential/Commercial Landscape Designer and Estimator, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning, functional environments. This energetic position combines creative landscape design with precise project estimation, ensuring client visions are brought to life efficiently and sustainably. You'll collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to develop innovative landscape solutions that balance aesthetic appeal with practical considerations. Duties Develop comprehensive landscape designs, incorporating sustainable and innovative solutions. Create detailed construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and estimates for residential and commercial projects. Prepare compelling renderings, hand-drawn illustrations, and digital visualizations using Design Software to effectively communicate design concepts. Conduct site visits for land surveying, land assessment, and to gather accurate measurements and site conditions for project planning. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback into final plans. Estimate project costs accurately by analyzing materials, labor, equipment needs, and construction timelines; prepare detailed bids for clients. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of landscaping projects from inception through completion. Requirements Proven experience in landscape architecture or landscape design for residential and commercial projects; construction experience is highly valued. Strong skills in rendering techniques using graphic design software; ability to produce high-quality visual presentations. Knowledge of horticulture principles, landscape maintenance practices, hardscape installation (pavers, retaining walls), irrigation systems, and sustainable design strategies. Experience with project management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting estimates, land surveying coordination, and construction documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members; experience in client presentations and professional art or design is preferred. Familiarity with civil engineering concepts related to land development; knowledge of Land Surveying standards is advantageous. $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
