Landscape Architect About the Role We're looking for a Landscape Architect who loves turning outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional, and sustainable environments. You'll get to work on all sorts of projects — from parks and city squares to residential gardens and commercial spaces. If you're creative, detail-oriented, and love blending nature with design, you might be the perfect fit! What You'll Do Chat with clients to understand what they want for their outdoor spaces Design and plan landscapes that look great and work well, keeping sustainability in mind Make drawings and use design software to show your ideas (think AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, or hand sketches) Work with architects, engineers, and city planners to make sure everything fits together Visit sites, troubleshoot challenges, and help projects run smoothly from start to finish Keep up with the latest trends in plants, green materials, and landscape techniques Participate in community meetings and share your ideas with clients or the public Skills & What Makes You Awesome Creative thinking and a good eye for visual design Experience with landscape architecture software (like AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS) Knowledge about plants, ecosystems, and sustainable design Good organizational and project management skills Solid communication skills — both verbal and visual Great attention to detail and a knack for solving problems Understanding of permits and local zoning rules Must-Haves Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field Landscape Architect license At least 2 years of relevant experience A portfolio showing off your design work Nice-to-Haves Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a similar area Background in sustainable or ecological design Certification in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) Experience working on big or multidisciplinary projects Salary The salary for this job is: 132,000 annually .
