Industry-Leading Pay:

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour, paid weekly.

The Role & Horticulture Focus:

You will lead a dedicated, friendly crew on some of the most beautiful private estates in the Ann Arbor area. Our work focuses on deep horticultural detail, natural stone, and complex perennial schemes.

Detailed Gardening:

Lead high-level gardening and installation, moving beyond basic landscape labor.

Hands-on Leadership:

Work alongside your crew while managing jobsite production, safety, and quality.

Client Connection:

Work hand-in-hand with happy customers who value our unique, artistic approach to gardening.

Teaching:

Mentor your crew, fostering a shared interest in plants and garden design.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute landscape design plans with precision and an eye for craftsmanship. Manage daily workflow, material deliveries, and equipment coordination.

Oversee all phases:

layout, grading, soil prep, drainage, and hardscape construction. Anticipate and solve field issues involving site access and changing weather conditions.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in landscape construction, design/build, or professional gardening. Proven ability to lead a crew and communicate effectively with clients. Deep interest in plants and a strong knowledge of planting and grading. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required). Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work and lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour days (Approx. 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Seasonal workload with flexible winter hours.

Additional Requirements:

Background check and drug test required. Chauffeur's License or Medical DOT Card is a plus.
