Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and creative Associate Landscape Designer who is ready to begin and grow their career in residential landscape design. This developmental role is designed for a recent graduate or someone early in their career. The Associate Landscape Designer will work alongside our experienced design and operations teams to build practical knowledge in landscape design, horticulture, estimating, sales, construction, and client communication. The goal of this position is to develop the skills and experience necessary to progress into a Landscape Designer role while taking ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities along the way.

Responsibilities:

Support Landscape Designers with site measurements, design development, plant selections, material selections, estimating, and proposal preparation. Develop landscape plans and project concepts with guidance from experienced team members. Participate in client meetings and site visits to develop consultation and communication skills. Assist with project documentation, revisions, field reports, warranty concerns, and follow-up. Spend time in the field learning landscape construction methods, installation standards, and how designs translate from plan to finished project. Manage smaller landscape projects as skills and experience develop. Work closely with the Maintenance Coordinator to grow the Four Seasons Maintenance Program, including identifying opportunities with existing and new clients, recommending ongoing landscape care, and supporting client follow-up. Identify opportunities for seasonal plantings, décor, enhancements, and other Four Seasons services. Build strong relationships with clients and provide the level of communication and service expected as part of the Four Seasons Experience.

Qualifications:

Degree or certificate in landscape design, landscape architecture, horticulture, or related field, OR 2-3 years of relevant landscape design-build experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong interest in residential landscape design, horticulture, and landscape construction. Creative design skills with a willingness to develop technical and construction knowledge. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Comfortable interacting with clients and working collaboratively with a team. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Dynascape, SketchUp, or similar design software through education, internships, or professional experience. Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and take on increasing responsibility.

Compensation & Benefits:
