Neel-Schaffer is accepting applications from qualified candidates for a Landscape Architect Intern to join our growing Landscape Architecture discipline. This position can be based in our Hattiesburg or Starkville (MS) offices. The successful candidate will have experience in planning and designing the development of land areas for projects such as parks, and other recreational facilities, airports, highways and commercial, industrial, residential sites, parks, plazas, and other public opens spaces for cities, counties, colleges/universities, and other public sector clients. You will be a part of a progressive multi-disciplined team in Mississippi and will assist teams in other locations within our company's nine-state footprint as project and client demands dictate. Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or Master of Landscape Architecture. Professional registration in Mississippi or track to achieve registration, preferred. 0 - 4+ years of experience with land development planning and design, preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Photoshop, Sketchup and other designed related software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Strong verbal communication, organization and analytical skills.
