Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong design sense, technical knowledge of landscape systems, and the ability to turn client ideas into functional, beautiful outdoor spaces. Additionally, we need a candidate that is self-motivated, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Someone who takes ownership of their work, solves problems independently and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed. We want someone who can handle deadlines, client expectations and field challenges without constant supervision. This is a full time position with seasonal overtime available. Responsibilities Meet with clients to assess needs, preferences, and site conditions Create landscape designs, layouts, and presentations for residential and/or commercial projects Develop planting plans Prepare scale drawings , renderings, and design documentation Revise designs based on client feedback and site requirements Stay current with landscape design trends, materials, and sustainable practices Scheduling installs with customer and coordinate with landscaping crews to complete the work Clear communication of job requirements to landscaping crews Handling phone calls from both wholesale and retail customers as needed Assisting in retail sales during retail hours Provide accurate and timely information for customer billing Skills Strong knowledge of plants, strong work ethic Excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong social skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Valid driver's license (required) Knowledge of local plant species and climate conditions Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment Positive attitude and the ability to work with a team Ability to adapt and problem solve Willingness to learn Familiarity with Microsoft Office (or equivalent, preferred) Experience with 3D rendering software (preferred) Schedule Monday-Friday Saturday (April-May) Seasonal layoff (January-February) Benefits Profit sharing/retirement 2 weeks paid vacation at Christmas and New Years Health Insurance Life Insurance Supplemental insurance available (i.e. Vision & dental)
