Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Landscape Estimator/Designer to join our team here at Nature's Corner. This role combines creative landscape design with precise project estimation, ensuring that each project is visually compelling, sustainable, and accurately budgeted. As a key contributor, you will develop comprehensive landscape plans, collaborate with clients and contractors, and bring visionary outdoor spaces to life. Your expertise will help shape inspiring environments while managing project scope, costs, and timelines effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity within a locally owned company dedicated to excellence in landscape architecture and sustainable design. Duties Meet with clients to understand their landscaping goals Develop detailed landscape design concepts and project plans, incorporating client preferences and site conditions Recommend appropriate plant materials based on site conditions, design goals, and customer preferences Utilize strong knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and all landscape materials Create renderings and hand-drawn illustrations to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and team members Conduct land surveying and site analysis to inform accurate grading plans and landscape layouts Assist with project follow up and customer relationships Stay current on landscaping trends, plants, and industry practices Qualifications Previous experience in landscape design, estimating, or related field is a must Strong plant knowledge and experience Ability to read and understand landscape plans Strong attention to detail and organization Excellent client communication skills to present ideas effectively and incorporate feedback into final designs Familiarity with irrigation system installation, landscaping maintenance practices, and land surveying techniques Valid driver's license required Compensation Starting hourly rate with potential for salary + commission structure based on experience and performance Join us if you're passionate about transforming outdoor spaces through innovative design while ensuring precision in project estimation.
