Job Description
Landscape Architect Position Overview We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team. This role involves both supporting senior staff and independently managing key aspects of projects from initial concept through construction documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in site design and land development. Key Responsibilities Assist senior team members throughout all phases of project development Independently manage portions of projects from concept design through construction documentation Perform grading and erosion & sediment control design (minimum 3 years of experience required) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on civil site design, landscape architecture, and land development projects Utilize design tools including Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture 3-5 years of relevant professional experience Strong experience in grading and erosion & sediment control Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D Solid understanding of landscape design principles Preferred Skills Experience with MicroStation, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook Ability to support engineering teams, particularly on civil projects involving dry utilities Strong communication and organizational skills Work Environment This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule, with time split between the Germantown office and remote work. Initially, team members are expected to work in the office four days per week to support onboarding and collaboration. Once established, candidates may enjoy greater flexibility, provided they maintain consistent communication and productivity. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
