As Practice Area Leader you would provide strategy, business development, and technical direction to the group, with a focus on the importance of landscape architecture, urban design and sustainability. From our corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, we also collaborate with team members across our 9 offices in the Midwest and Florida providing landscape architecture design expertise regionally and nationally. Our new Practice Area Leader will help employees with personal and professional growth as well as have the opportunity to grow the practice of landscape architecture in the Milwaukee office and the other regional offices. We are considering candidates who possess the following basic qualifications: Bachelor's and/or master's degree in landscape architecture.
Minimum of 8 years of applicable design experience.
Previous project management experience required.
Professional licensure required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD Civil 3D or Revit, and / or GIS software desired.
Experience with business development activities such as marketing, proposals and client development.
Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members are necessary.
Experience in leading and mentoring staff for career development and advancement.
