Landscape Design Consultant (Sales)

Job Summary Hope Farms is rapidly expanding its landscaping division and is seeking a Landscape Design Consultant who can sell, design, and close projects efficiently . This is not a slow design role; this is a high-performance, client-facing sales position focused on turning consultations into booked installs. In this role, you will be the key driver in transforming clients' outdoor visions into reality by providing expert guidance on landscape design solutions. Your enthusiasm for sustainable and creative landscaping will inspire clients while leveraging your technical expertise to deliver tailored proposals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend sales acumen with design proficiency, ensuring each project exceeds expectations from concept to completion. This is a fully commission based role. Responsibilities Engage with clients to understand their landscaping needs, preferences, and budget considerations, building strong relationships based on trust and enthusiasm. Develop compelling landscape design proposals using company provided design tools Collaborate with clients to refine designs that incorporate sustainable practices, horticulture principles, hardscape features, irrigation systems, and land surveying insights. Prepare detailed construction estimates and project timelines while coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution. Present design ideas confidently through sketches, renderings, and digital presentations, emphasizing landscaping aesthetics and functional solutions. Stay informed about the latest trends in landscape architecture, civil engineering, and environmental sustainability to offer innovative options. Support project management efforts by overseeing landscape maintenance plans and ensuring adherence to safety standards during construction phases. Maintain a high close rate (30-50%) Skills Proficient in B2C sales settings, with a history of high closing rates Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), ArcView, ArcGIS, Google Earth for land analysis and planning Experience with landscaping design including hardscape elements, horticulture practices, and sustainable design principles Excellent project management skills Join us if you're passionate about creating inspiring outdoor spaces while driving sales through expert consultation!
