Full-Time, Part time, Contract About the Role We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Commercial Landscape Architect with 3-10 years of experience to join our team. This role involves designing, planning, and managing landscape projects for commercial developments, including corporate campuses, mixed-use properties, retail centers, and public spaces. The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibility with technical expertise and project coordination skills. Key Responsibilities Develop creative and functional landscape design concepts for commercial projects Prepare site plans, planting plans, grading plans, and construction documents Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, developers, and internal teams Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through construction Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and code research Coordinate with municipalities and assist with permitting processes Attend client meetings and present design concepts clearly and professionally Perform construction administration tasks, including site visits and contractor coordination Ensure projects meet budget, timeline, and quality expectations Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program 3-10 years of relevant experience in commercial landscape architecture Professional licensure (PLA/RLA) or progress toward licensure preferred Proficiency in design and documentation software (AutoCAD required; experience with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, or similar tools preferred) Strong understanding of grading, drainage, planting design, and construction detailing Knowledge of local zoning codes, ordinances, and permitting processes Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Experience working on large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments Ability to manage client relationships and lead portions of projects independently Familiarity with sustainable design practices and water-efficient landscapes Experience with project budgeting and scheduling What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Flexibility on schedule Paid time off and holidays Professional development and licensure support Collaborative and creative work environmentJob Types:
