Pesticide Applicator's License Fertilizing GIS Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, design, and management of City's landscapes, streetscapes, open spaces and urban forest resources
• Sustain visual appealing public environments
• Supervise Horticulture staff in beautification projects and their maintenance
• Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and the commmunity
• Use GPS and GIS technology, including ArcGIS, and other Ipad applications
• Assist in City storm disater operations

Requirements:

• Valid South Carolina Class D Driver's License (Class A preferred)
• ISA Arborist Certification
• Pesticide Category # Applicator's License
• Experience in data collection, GPS, GIS technology, and analysis skills
• Experience in landscape design, installation, and use of tools and equipment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness for working outdoors in various weather conditions

Note:

Experience in urban forestry, or other related fields are a plus. Please submit your resume along with a cover letter detailing your experience in landsape design and installation of tree and shrubs and your interest in the position.
