Job Description
Texas Turf Tenders is looking for a motivated and creative Junior Landscape & Pool Designer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in outdoor living design while gaining hands-on experience in the landscaping and pool construction industry.
The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients as well as producing professional designs and construction drawings. Responsibilities & Duties Meet with clients at their homes to discuss project ideas, needs, budgets, and overall vision Take accurate field measurements and site photos during consultations Assist in creating detailed 2D and 3D designs for pools, landscaping, outdoor kitchens, patios, structures, lighting, and outdoor living spaces Produce construction-ready plan sets and detailed construction drawings Make revisions to designs based on client feedback and project requirements Assist with material selections including plants, tile, coping, decking, lighting, and hardscape finishes Coordinate with project managers and installation crews to ensure designs are properly communicated Help maintain organized project files, drawings, and revisions Learn company standards, construction methods, and design practices Support estimating and sales teams with design-related information when needed Preferred Qualifications Experience with design software such as VIP3D, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs preferred Basic knowledge of landscaping, pools, hardscape, irrigation, or construction is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with good organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and grow within the company Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Some evening client meetings may be required Compensation Salary position Salary information is not available online.
