Kudela & Weinheimer LLC seeks a Project Coordinator (Landscape Architect E2) in San Antonio, TX to plan and design landscape areas for master-planned communities focused on sustainability and environmental conservation. Collaborate with the Lead Designer (PLA) in exploring innovative design solutions and technologies that can enhance the quality of the projects. Conduct research into new materials, techniques, or design trends and present them to the design team for consideration. Complete tree mitigation plans and permit planting plans. Create a hardscape plan and materials schedule, and coordinate with the consultant team. Review background files received from consultants, verifying necessary information has been provided, and coordinating with the other consultants if the info is inadequate. Utilize our plant palette to create and document a full planting design and plan. Create a lighting schedule, plan and coordinate with the consultant team. Create a grading plan and coordinate it with consultant team. Begin to understand materials selections and work with design team to finalize selections. Create a materials schedule and document materials plan. Create and document a layout plan. Begin to understand construction methods - draft and document details under direction of leadership. Utilize computer programs correctly with little direction from leadership. Complete task(s) in timeframe allotted by leadership. Begin to learn the skills needed to effectively communicate and interface with clients. Act as a mentor to the E1 level staff. Train and review Landscape Associates on basic tasks. Proactively provide project status updates to leadership prior to completion. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
