Do you enjoy helping people transform blank outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional landscapes? At Cross Creek Nursery and Landscaping , our Outdoor Landscape Designers create inspired outdoor environments that bring our clients' visions to life. You will create softscapes such as new bed designs, front foundation plantings, light drainage solutions, and more. If you are excited by creativity, client interaction, and working with a collaborative team, we would love to meet you. What You'll Do Schedule and manage design appointments with customers Conduct on-site visits and evaluations Record customer goals, preferences, and requests to create designs and estimates Take accurate site measurements Produce CAD and Dynascapes drawings Prepare visual presentations and revise designs based on client feedback Create and present design proposals Maintain clear, timely communication with customers throughout the process What We're Looking For Self-motivated individual with a sales-oriented mindset Strong communication and presentation skills Comfortable using design and measurement tools Experience in horticulture or the green industry Sales or client consultation experience Bonus Points If You Have A degree, certification, or formal training in Landscape Design, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field Strong knowledge of regional plant material, including plant selection, seasonal performance, growth habits, and maintenance considerations Knowledge of hardscape integration such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, or outdoor living elements Experience working in a nursery, garden center, landscape installation, or maintenance environment Strong plant identification skills and knowledge of plant health care Experience presenting design concepts directly to clients and confidently explaining plant selections and layout decisions What We Offer Competitive pay We handle lead generation so you can focus on designing, estimating, and selling.
