About You You are a highly skilled landscape architect and project leader who brings both technical expertise and strong communication skills to your work. You are confident presenting design ideas to clients and internal teams, making decisions that support project success, and guiding projects through complexity. You understand that strong design supports project schedules, budgets, and gross margin, and you consistently make decisions that keep projects on track and protect profitability. About the Role The Landscape Architect leads complex landscape design and design/build projects from concept through execution. This role is responsible for overall design quality, constructability, and alignment with project goals, including schedule and budget. The Landscape Architect works closely with clients, internal teams, and field operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and at target gross margin. Key Responsibilities Lead the design of complex projects, including concept development, plan production, and final documentation. Present design concepts and revisions to clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure drawings, specifications, and design intent align with field execution and constructability. Oversee permitting and approvals, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Partner with estimating and operations teams to support accurate costing and scheduling. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Designers and Senior Designers. Proactively identify and resolve design challenges, risks, and conflicts. Maintain alignment between design, schedule, and cost to keep projects on track and protect gross margin. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture. Must have experience working in the construction landscaping industry. 8+ years of experience in landscape design or closely related work. Strong proficiency in CAD-based design tools, including Land F/X and Adobe Creative Suite. Proven ability to lead projects independently from concept through execution. Strong presentation and communication skills. Ability to collaborate across teams and influence project outcomes. Professional landscape architecture license (stamp) preferred but not required. Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. Pay:
$88,000.00 - $132,000.00 per year
