With multiple locations in Georgia, we process the debris resulting from construction, renovation, repair and demolition of commercial buildings, houses, roads, bridges and other structures. We accept construction demolition debris and materials such as concrete, rock, wood, cardboard, drywall, metal and carpet.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Operator - Heavy Equipment Operator/NO Forklift Operators please

7:00 am - 5:30 pm

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, skid steers, etc.) while processing concrete, construction and demolition debris, loading trucks and trailers with crushed aggregate, dirt, wood chips, and other construction waste. Must operate heavy equipment in a safe manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Responsible for efficient and safe operation of heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, skid steers, etc.).
  • Responsible for pre- and post- shift inspections of equipment. Documents service on equipment, referring and reporting more complicated mechanical issues and improvements to Maintenance or Supervisor.
  • Maintains equipment in proper condition including applicable safety measures.
  • Assists other team members as needed to further best interests of the company.
  • Participates in any additional safety training programs.
  • Act in accordance with all company policies and procedures including safety and OSHA regulations and requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, not required.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment.
  • Adheres to work schedule, is punctual and has excellent attendance.
  • May work occasional overtime based on company demands.
  • Adheres to pre-employment screening process.
