Job Description

Job Summary CIS is currently seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing post assembly, monthly, and annual inspections on various types of mobile cranes. The Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of inspections and compliance with industry regulations for our clients. •This is not an entry level position. Applicants must provide documentation of experience.•Starting hourly pay rate depends on skills level, knowledge base, and current certifications.

Service truck, uniforms, phone, computer, and fuel card. Candidate must provide their own inspection tools. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of mobile cranes to ensure they meet operational safety compliance and industry standards. Create and complete inspection reports on a digital platform. Document inspection findings and prepare reports detailing necessary corrective actions. Send reports and coordinate with customers on site and explain inspection outcome. Create and complete job related work orders. Stay updated on industry standards, best practices and safety regulations related the mobile crane and construction industry. Requirements High School diploma. Valid Driver's License. Possess a good driving record. Must be able to pass 10-year background check. Submit to and pass a drug screening and Non CDL DOT physical. Not afraid of heights or operating lift equipment. Must have good mobility and be physically cable of climbing onto large equipment. Proven operational and inspection experience with various types of mobile cranes. Proficiency in the construction and general industry standards. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret manufacturer specifications. Must have operational and inspection knowledge of various types of mobile cranes such as: Rough Terrain Cranes, All Terrain Cranes, Lattice Boom Cranes, Tower Crane etc. Must have knowledge of crane setup procedures and configurations. Understand lift plans Be able to recognize and assess site hazards relating to mobile crane setup. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
