Job Description
Overview Responsible for assisting the Planer Operator. Responsible for feeding wood into the planer machine, and making sure the correct size and side of the boards are turned upwards or downwards. Quality control determining whether the wood goes through planer or is culled out as low grade. Ensuring all rocks and staples are not in any wood going into the planer, detailed inspection of each piece of wood. When you're not pulling material or feeding the planer, you help wrap orders. If orders are all wrapped.
