Akron, Ohio & Surrounding Areas Hercules Services Crane Rental is hiring an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our growing team. We operate well-maintained equipment ranging from 35-ton to 100-ton cranes , including boom trucks and all-terrain cranes. The majority of our work is in the tree industry , supporting large tree removals, technical picks, storm work, and tight-access residential projects. Experience working alongside arborists and tree crews is a major plus. If you're a skilled operator who understands precision, communication, and jobsite awareness — especially during tree removals — we want to talk to you.

Requirements:

Valid Class B CDL (required) Experience operating boom trucks and all-terrain cranes Comfortable running cranes ranging from 35-100 tons Ability to read and understand load charts Strong awareness of dynamic loads common in tree removals Ability to perform daily inspections and basic maintenance Professional attitude and strong communication skills Reliable transportation NCCCO Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities:

Safely operate mobile cranes on residential and commercial job sites Perform crane-assisted tree removals and storm response work Work closely with arborists and ground crews Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain OSHA and company safety standards Represent the company professionally on every job
