Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Feller Buncher Operator to join our dynamic forestry team. Duties Operate feller buncher equipment to cut, gather, and process trees in designated forest areas with precision and safety. Follow forestry and logging safety procedures rigorously to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure machinery operates at peak performance. Execute tree felling, tree care, and trimming techniques while minimizing environmental impact. Collaborate with ground crews for efficient loading, bucking, and transportation of harvested timber using loaders or excavators. Adhere to all industry regulations related to ground-based logging, heavy lifting, rigging, and equipment operation. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, safety incidents, and equipment maintenance records. Skills Extensive knowledge of forestry and logging safety procedures is essential for safe operations. Proven experience in timber harvesting, tree felling, and tree trimming techniques. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment such as feller bunchers.

Pay:

$1,250.00 - $1,500.00 per week
