$28.00 - $38.00 per hour Job description: Experienced Underground Coal Miner Somerset, Colorado JENNMAR Services, a staffing company specializing in workforce solutions for the mining industry, is currently seeking Experienced Underground Coal Miners in the Somerset area. Pay $28.00 - $38.00 per hour DOE Schedule Day Shift Swing Shift Graveyard Shift 12-hour shifts may be required Basic Job Duties Perform belt moves, including the installation and removal of belt structure Operate underground mining equipment, including: Roof Bolters Shuttle Cars Continuous Miners Install and remove monorail systems Perform all tasks necessary to advance development sections and retreat longwall operations Complete fan and power moves Perform shovel crew duties, including cleanup and material handling Set timbers for ground support Build cribs and stoppings Assist with general underground labor and other duties as assigned Follow all company and MSHA safety regulations and procedures Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of underground mining experience MSHA Certification preferred (training available if needed) High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to work effectively in a team environment Valid driver s license required Must be willing to work any assigned shift, including days, swings, and graves Must pass a drug screen and background check Physical Requirements Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts on days or nights Routinely lift up to 50 lbs Ability to kneel, bend, and stoop for extended periods Ability to work safely and remain free from medications, OTC drugs, or supplements that may impair judgment, focus, or performance Safety All duties and responsibilities must be performed in a safe, clean, and productive manner. Compliance with all Health and Safety requirements established by JENNMAR Services is required.
