Can you shift from the driver's seat to supporting basic plant upkeep without missing a beat? Join our underground team and keep salt and materials moving safely and reliably. Why this role matters Every safe, on-time haul keeps the mine productive. Your focus is moving material, backing up your team with light maintenance, and recording the details that keep the operation compliant and efficient. What you'll do Drive underground haul trucks to transport salt and materials throughout the mine. Operate other equipment as needed to support production. Assist with basic maintenance on conveyors, crushers, and screening equipment. Pitch in with the maintenance crew when additional hands are needed. Adhere to MSHA safety regulations and site standards. Accurately maintain production and safety records. Is this you? Experienced heavy equipment operator who is comfortable underground. Mechanically inclined with a hands-on approach. Safety-first mindset and attention to detail. Capable of physical work, including lifting 50+ lbs. What to expect You'll work underground daily, balance haulage duties with basic maintenance tasks, and collaborate closely with operations and maintenance to keep every shift running smoothly.
