Must be 18 to apply. This position may start as a temp for 30 days. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following: General Operate front end loader in a safe manner Do preventive maintenance checks on front end loader Do preventative maintenance checks on pre-crusher Do preventative maintenance checks on bat crusher Haul raw clay from stockpiles as required Load and operate pre-crusher in a safe manner Adjust conveyor drop point to load clay in proper storage bin Haul scrap brick to bat crusher as required Operate bat crusher in a safe manner Clean out conveyor systems as required Haul crushed brick as required Assist in material movement when front end loader is needed Clean work area as required Notify supervisor of problems Notify maintenance personnel of equipment problems Follow all safety procedures All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents, safety rules and procedure manuals. Communicate with employees and management both verbally and in written form.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

None required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must walk, climb, stand, bend, squat, kneel, reach, lift, and use hands and fingers. The employee must process brick at a minimum rate of 3.4 tons per hour and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, occasionally outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment requires hearing protection.
