Pay:

$25-35/hr (based on experience) [About the Role] Join our onshore mining operations as an Electrician, working hands-on to ensure the reliability and safety of all electrical systems within a high-performance minerals grinding plant. • Maintain and repair electrical equipment, motors, and controls throughout the grinding plant
• Install new electrical systems and calibrate controls for optimal plant operation
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace worn or defective components to minimize downtime
• Direct and coordinate outside installers, service personnel, and helpers as needed
• Keep detailed maintenance records, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards (ISO/API/TQM)
• Conduct scheduled inspections and use electrical instruments and power tools safely
• Maintain organized work areas and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team
• Participate in required HSE training, report hazards, and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility [Required Skills and Experience]
• Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or plant setting
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics and applying electromagnetic theory
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards relevant to industrial environments
• Experience using maintenance checklists and electrical diagnostic tools
• Successful completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on training in a plant/mill environment [Preferred Skills]
• Familiarity with ISO/API quality standards
• Experience in minerals or mining plant operations
• Leadership in directing helpers or subcontractors
